Erin and the rest of her preschool class got dressed up and had tea (or lemonaid) with the queen of Alphabetania. After tea they went to a ragtime concert. Every week the preschool class does something special like getting a visit from a Fireman (F) or having tea with the Queen (Q).
Scuba Duba Do
Allan goes scuba diving at Ka'anapali Beach. I purchased a three dive package from the local dive shop (5 Star Scuba).
Ridin' the Hogs to Haleakalā
Mark and Allan rode a couple of Harley Softtails up to the top of Haleakalā on the Island of Maui. This is definetly one of the coolest rides out there. I haven't been riding for very long but I don't imagine that I'll be able to top this one any time soon.
Haleakalā (Hawaiian for "House of the Sun") is a massive shield volcano that forms more than 75% of the Hawaiian island of Maui. The summit is at 10,023 ft (we started at sea level).
Allan and Christine go Snuba Diving in Maui
While in Maui Christine tried Snuba Diving (she's not old enough to be certified for Scuba). Snuba is just like scuba diving except that you don't carry the air tank with you. It sits on a raft on the surface and is attached to you by a 20ft air hose.
Christine says it was Awsome, Awsome, Awsome.
